As the year comes to a close, I've been revisiting some of the photos that I've taken over the past 365 days. As I've pulled them from my archive, I notice that many of my photos fall into a few main categories: Friends + Family, Cooking + Food, Travel.
Looking back, I'm reminded of how great this year has been. I travelled to new places, made so many new friends, spent more time with family; and though late in the year, I've been doing much more writing and journaling.
I'm learning more about how important documentation is, not only at work, but in life as well. The key however, is to accomplish this in a timeless way. That's what shooting on film affords me; documenting memories, feelings, and experiences in a timeless way.
